1. (U) Post requests the Department's assistance in screening the
following candidate, of the Brazilian Navy, who has been nominated
to participate in a Special Operations in Combating Terrorism
Course, from April 5-9, 2010, in Hurlburt Field, FL, pursuant to
the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act.
2. (U) Post verifies that, as of February 11, it possesses no
derogatory information of gross human rights violations by the
following Brazilian service members as cited below.
3. (U) Name of the proposed candidate is as follows:
