SUBJECT: HUMAN RIGHTS VETTING FOR US SPONSORED TRAINING, USA
1. This is an action request.
2. Pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act, Post
requests the Department's assistance in screening the following
candidates from the Iraqi Ministry of Interior (MOI) who have been
tentatively selected for FBI-sponsored training during the period
23-27 March 2010 in Gaborone, Botswana. All three candidates are
previous graduates of the FBI National Academy, and this training
constitutes follow up.
