(SBU) The Ambassador delivered reftel demarche to Minister of
Energy, Mines, Water and the Environment Amina Benkhadra on
January 26, emphasizing our hope that Morocco would take
action to associate itself with the Copenhagen Accord
demarche before January 31. Later on January 26, Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Chief of Sustainable
Development Faical Souissi told EconOff that the Minister of
Foreign Affairs had decided to send an official notification

indicated, was still being composed, but should be sent
before January 31.
