Per reftel, on January 19 Post delivered a demarche to
Nikolai Smirnov of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' North
America Department informing GOR that the U.S. Government has
established temporary air traffic flow management procedures
for flights into Port-au-Prince-Mais Gate Airport, Haiti.
Post also contacted several MFA officials who acknowledged
receiving the demarche and stated that they have no further
questions or comments at this point. Post will continue to
maintain contact with MFA on this issue.
