1. (SBU) Post has discussed the points raised in reftel with
Ministry for External Relations (MRE) Director for Disarmament and
Sensitive Technologies Santiago Mourao. Mourao has been active in
the Nuclear Security Summit preparation process and understands
well the different goals and objectives of the Nuclear Security
Summit and the NPT RevCon. Brazil plans active participation in
both events and looks forward to progress toward disarmament.
