SUBJECT: HUMAN RIGHTS VETTING FOR AL-SAAD
1. This is an expedited action request.
2. Pursuant to the Leahy Act and Foreign Assistance Act, Post
requests the Department's assistance in screening the following
candidate from the Iraqi Ministry of Defense (MOD) Security Forces,
who has been nominated to participate in a naval conference in
Washington, DC. Due to a recent invitation to participate, Post asks
that the Department please expedite this request.
