"DEFAMATION OF RELIGIONS" RESOLUTION

1. Burundi will support the U.S. position on the "Defamation
of Religions" resolution, according to the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs' Director General for International
Organizations, Adolphe Nahayo. In Ambassador Nahayo's
December 3 meeting with PolOff, Nahayo explained that Burundi
wishes to work well with the Vatican, EU, and U.S. by voting
with them on this resolution.
