1. This is an Action Request. See paragraph 4.
2. The Department's Office of Defense Trade Controls
Compliance (PM/DTCC) requests Post's assistance in conducting
a pre-license check on license 050201390 for the export of
Helmets and Helmet Mounts to Peru. Post is requested to
complete this Blue Lantern check within 30 days. Lack of
response to a Blue Lantern check will affect pending and
future licenses involving parties to this license.
3. Reason for Request: The purchase order submitted with
this license application is in a Microsoft Excel format that
allows the easy manipulation of its content. In addition,
the purchase order for this license does not/not list the NVG
Helmet Mount (P/N a 8057-1) listed below. This request is
for Post to verify the legitimacy of this document and
establish the bona fides of the transaction.
4. Action Request: Post is requested to establish the bona
fides of this transaction by making inquiries to appropriate
authorities of the Government of Peru. The following points
are included for guidance:

de Defensa Marina de Guerra Del Peru submitted to the U.S.
vendor.
