1. During the week of October 19 Ambassador Nesbitt met
with Ivorian Ambassador to the UN Alcide Djedje to solicit
GoCI for support for resolutions on Iran, Burma and the DPRK
as outlined in reftel. In addition, on November 3, 2009 post
delivered all elements of reftel demarche to Ambassador
Idrissa Bayo, Director of American Affairs at the Cote
d,Ivoire Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He responded that he
would convey USG priorities to the appropriate offices in the
Ministry.
