Delivering reftel points in an October 1 meeting with
Department of International Relations and Cooperation Acting
U.S. Director Godfrey Mulaudzi, Political Counselor expressed
an understanding of Justice Goldstone's stature
internationally and, more particularly, within South Africa.
Pol Counselor called on the SAG officials to look at the
report critically and, in the spirit of renewed dialogue
between our two governments under new administrations, to
share with us views on the strengths and weaknesses of the
report. Mulaudzi assured us that our views would be given
full consideration.
