Foreign Affairs (MFA) Director for U.S. and Canadian Affairs
Adriana Maldonado. On October 26, we received verbal confirmation
from MFA Director of International Organization Candidatures
Alexandra Rivera that Colombia still planned to support U.S.
Candidate Lucretia Meyers for the International Civil Service
Commission (ICSC) elections. Rivera cited Ministry Diplomatic Note
49710 which formally communicated support for Ms. Meyers. On
September 18, Post first reported (Ref. B) Colombia's support for
the U.S. candidate.
