Per reftel, Germany has no objection to the United Nations
Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) having observer status at
the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism, according
to MFA Desk Officer Joerg Polster. The meeting to discuss
this was delayed several days to accommodate the schedule of
Russian Embassy First Secretary Dmitri Cherkaschin. Despite
Econoff confirming the meeting with him, Cherkaschin did not
attend the meeting.
