PolOff shared U.S. objectives regarding the upcoming Comprehensive Nuclear Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) Article XIV Conference
in New York with Valentine Madojemu, an officer in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office's (FCO) Counterproliferation
Department, on September 21. (Ref A) Madojemu affirmed close U.S.-UK cooperation regarding the CTBT as well as other
matters related to nonproliferation, disarmament, and arms control, and promised to pass information about the CTBT
Supporters meeting to the UK's UN Mission. Poloff advised Madojemu on September 22 regarding the date, time and venue
