SUBJECT: POST SUPPORTS 1206 PROPOSAL FOR INCREASED MARITIME
DOMAIN AWARENESS ON THE CROATIAN COAST FOR FY09
1. The Ambassador supports ODC Croatia's 1206 proposal to
improve Maritime Domain Awareness on the Croatian Coast for
FY 09. The
night vision equipment the proposal will provide would
dramatically increase Croatia's ability to monitor nocturnal
movements, thereby decreasing arms, human and other illicit
trafficking.
