(SBU) Poloff delivered reftel message on December 17 to
Ministry of Foreign Affairs Head of United Nations Division
Azzedine Farhane on the Iran human rights resolution for the
UNGA plenary. Farhane reported that other countries have
also asked Morocco to absent themselves again during the
upcoming plenary but was unable to confirm Morocco's plan of
action. He promised to forward the U.S. request to his
supervisors for their consideration. (Comment: We have no
reason to anticipate a change in their approach).
