Dear Sir,
Letter of Congratulation
On my personnel behalf and on behalf of the leadership and the
membership of the Sudan Liberation Movement/Army, and on behalf of
the suffering people of Darfur and the entire people of the Sudan, I
am honored to seize this opportunity to express my sincere and
heartfelt congratulation to you for your historic victory for being
elected as President of the United States of America.
I also like to take this opportunity to congratulate the entire
people of the United States of America for demonstrating this
levelheaded, civility, sense of responsibility and maturity
throughout the election process. Indeed, the people of the United
States of America have once again and in no uncertain terms
demonstrated to the world that America deserves to be respected.
Mr. President elect, my organization the SLM/A championing and
defending the people of Darfur, who, atrocities against them
declared by the US Government and Congress as genocide, is not only
proud of you and of the people of the United States of America, but
its also confident and hopeful that your administration would
immediately embark to engage itself effectively in expediting the
resolution of their tragedy and restoration of peace, security and
stability in the larger Sudan.
