Ambassador Browning and P/E Chief delivered reftel demarche
to Foreign Minister Sam Kutesa on November 10. Kutesa said
that Uganda agreed with the U.S. position on the Mauritanian
coup and restoration of the constitutional order. He added
that Uganda would "hold the line" on Mauritania.
