The renewable energy, resource efficiency, and water sector
focus of the Virgin Green Emerging Markets Fund under
consideration by OPIC is a close match with GOP development
objectives, and Post has no adverse information concerning
the fund manager, VGF Partners I, L.P. However, there are
numerous sources of financing for the growing Portuguese
renewable energies market and it is doubtful there will be
significant interest in the fund here.
