1. (SBU) Poloff delivered the message and text in reftel on
October 2 to Andreas Friedrich, Head of the Arms Control and
Disarmament Section of the Swiss Federal Department of
Foreign Affairs (FDFA). Friedrich thanked poloff for the
information. He had no immediate reaction to the text, but
undertook to consult within the FDFA and provide poloff
feedback at a later date.
2. (SBU) Poloff also delivered the message and text in reftel
on October 2 to Esther Schindler, who has responsibility for
arms control and disarmament issues within the Office of
Foreign Affairs of the Principality of Liechtenstein. Ms.
Schindler thanked poloff for the information. She had no
immediate reaction to the text, but said she would consult
with the Liechtenstein UN Mission in New York regarding the
resolution.
3. (U) Post will provide substantive responses from Swiss
and Liechtenstein authorities as such feedback becomes
available.
