1. (SBU) On September 14, Econoff delivered reftel demarche
on the five Iranian entities and individuals designated as
weapons of mass destruction proliferators under E.O. 13382 to
Counselor Abdulrahman al-Ahmad of the Saudi Ministry of
Foreign Affairs. Al-Ahmad assured Econoff the points would
be passed on to other relevant offices. Post will inform the
Department of any further response we receive.
