1. Charge d'Affaires, a.i., Whitaker briefed Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and Cooperation Director for the Americas, Asia, and Oceania
Sani Nana Aicha Andia and Desk Officer for the Americas Aboubacar
Danbarma on the subject of reftel on September 19.
2. Aicha Andia stated that the matter would be conveyed to the
Nigerien delegation by Director for International Organizations and
United Nations Affairs Sandi Sahadi Abdou, who plans to depart
Niamey for New York on September 21. Post will advise if further
information becomes available.
