1. This is a reply to reftel requesting assistance to USITC
in its investigation of select industries in sub-Saharan
Africa. Post notes that Mozambique does not have an export
industry in the agriculture sectors of coffee, shea butter,
and tropical fruits, as specified reftel. In the mining and
manufacturing sector, Mozambique does not have a natural
rubber and downstream products industry. Mozambique does
have a textile company producing for export. The country is
in the process of developing a tourism industry.
