1. (SBU) Emboffs delivered reftel non-paper to relevant MFA
and Finance Ministry contacts. Julian Luebbert, German MFA
Desk Officer responsible for Iran Financial Sanctions, told
EconOff that Germany has already designated these entities.
In a separate conversation, MFA Iran Unit Chief Andreas
Krueger expressed surprise that the USG had not already
designated these entities. Kristina Wogatski, Finance
Ministry officer covering Iran Financial Sanctions, thanked
EconOff for the information but offered no substantive
comments.
