(SBU) On July 9, poloff discussed reftel points on the Arab Group's
draft resolution on Israeli settlements with MFA International
Organizations Department Specialist Vu Thu Minh. Ms. Minh said the
GVN would like to see agreement among all parties involved in this
issue, rather than some parties "pushing forward" a resolution
without agreement. Minh added that she was "certain" that Vietnam's
UN Mission would welcome further negotiations on the matter.
