SUBJECT: SIERRA LEONE AGOA FORUM DELEGATION UPDATE
1. (U) Despite continued engagement with Government of Sierra
Leone representatives, post is still awaiting confirmation on
the composition of the AGOA Forum delegation. During July 10
meeting (septel), Minister of Finance informed Ambassador and
Poloff that he thought Sierra Leone should have a delegation.
Emboffs anticipate additional information by COB, local time,
and will relay to Department as quickly as possible.
2. (U) Though uncertain if the Minister for Trade and
Industry, Alimamy Koroma, will attend, the Minister did
respond to the invitation letter with a suggestion that the
plenary session include issues relating to Rules of Origin
under AGOA.
