The Kingdom of Morocco has officially presented the
candidature of Ambassador El Hassane Zahid to the United
Nations, for a seat on the United Nations' International
Civil Service Committee. Morocco will present the candidature
of Mr. Zahid for a new four-year term (2009-2012), during
elections to be held in New York in September 2008, during
the next session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Current Ambassador of His Majesty the King in Thailand since
2003, Mr. Zahid, whose curriculum vitae is enclosed, was also

General Assembly.
In view of the excellent relations of friendship and
cooperation existing between our two countries, the Moroccan

your Government could bring to this candidacy.
