(SBU) The Czech Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Interior
officials thanked us for our May 27 and June 9 outreach
regarding US candidate Ambassador William Swing for IOM
Director General (DG). Currently the issue of the upcoming
IOM DG election on June 18 resides with the MoI Department of
Asylum and Migration and these officials stated that they
will be in touch once they have a response for us regarding
who they will support for IOM DG.
