1. (U) Mission welcomes the proposed visit on February 07
(reftel) of S/WCI Deputy Director Milbert Shin and S/WCI
officer Jason Gorey to accompany USUN/MR representative to
meeting of the Sierra Leone Special Court Management
Committee. This meeting, to be hosted by the Canadian
Mission, as Management Committee chair, is being convened to
prepare for the Committee's mid-February trip to The Hague
and Freetown. S/WCI Deputy Shin will be serving as the U.S.
representative on the Committee's trip.
2. (U) Mission stands ready to facilitate S/WCI
representatives' participation in the February 7 Management
Committee meeting, as requested.
