(SBU) Acting Economic Minister Counselor delivered reftel's
notification to MOFA Science and Technology Division
Director Jun Yanagi February 21. Yanagi said the GOJ
appreciated the notification and Admiral Keating's phone
calls to Admiral Saito earlier in the day. He said he would
follow up with Post should he have any questions following
the DOD press briefing at 0700 EST.
