1. (SBU) On January 11, Veikko Kala of the Estonian
Ministry of Foreign Affair's International Organizations
and Regional Cooperation Division informed Poloff that the
Government of Estonia will support U.S. candidate Pierre
Prosper for the UN Committee for the Elimination of Racial
Discrimination (CERD).
