1. Per reftel, post contacted the Republic of Korean Air Force
(ROKAF) by phone. On December 18, 2007 ROFAK confirmed to Post that
it had received P/N 822-1182-002 Transceiver on October 10, 2006 and
believed it had also received P/N 622-8112-003HF-9030 Transceiver
from Rockwell Collins through Indonesian Aerospace (IAE). Moreover,
ROFAK reported that both transceivers have since been returned to
IAE and Collins Rockwell for repair. Due to a technical difficulty
in ROKAF's tracking system and the age of the order it has had
difficulty tracking the specific order.
2. Sergeant Ahn Jae-hon of the ROKAF Logistics Center informed Post
that P/N 822-1182-002 Transceiver was received on October 10, 2006
and used to repair a CN-235-220M aircraft belonging to the ROKAF.
On March 9, 2007 P/N 822-1182-002 Transceiver was returned to
Rockwell Collins through IAE due to a technical problem that
occurred in the part. The ROKAF is awaiting a replacement, but does
not have a specific delivery date.
3. Sergeant Ahn also informed Post that it believes that the ROKAF
received the P/N 622-8112-003HF-9030 Transceiver and that this item
was also been returned to IAE and Rockwell for repair. However,
ROKAF was unable to locate the paperwork for the original inbound
shipment. ROKAF has contacted Rockwell and IAE for an expected
delivery date of the repaired transceiver. ROKAF stated that upon
hearing from IAE and Rockwell it would contact Post with the
expected delivery date.
