1. (SBU) In a November 19 meeting with Charge and Poloff, MFA
Director General for International Organizations Ambassador
Adolphe Nahayo said Burundi will vote for the resolutions on
North Korea, Iran, and Belarus, and vote against any
no-action motions presented by the Committee. Ambassador
Nahayo indicated Burundi will also support the Burma
resolution, but needed to verify with the Minister.
According to Ambassador Nahayo, Germany, Canada, and Japan
also demarched the MFA seeking cooperation on the UNGA
resolutions.
