1. (SBU) Reftel demarche was delivered September 28, 2007 to
Ambassador Chepsongol, Director Political Affairs Division,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In response the following Diplomatic Note was received
October 2:"Complimentary opening - Has the honour to refer to
the latter's request for Kenya to support its Resolution on,
"Condemning the use of Rape as an Instrument of State
Policy," to be tabled at the United Nations General Assembly.
The Ministry is happy to inform that the Government of Kenya
will support this Resolution. Complimentary Close."
