Econoff delivered reftel demarche to Government of Argentina
officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Secretary of
Communications; and the National Communications Commission. GOA
officials indicate that they have still not formulated their
position on the use of the 3400-4200 megahertz band by International
Mobile Telecommunication Radiocommunication Sector. GOA officials
indicate that Argentina will be represented at this conference, and
its delegation will be headed by Mr. Carlos Chhab (note this correct
spelling), senior advisor to GOA Secretary of Communications, Mr.
Carlos Lisandro Salas.
