On September 14, DCM shared reftel concerns regarding WIPO
Director General Idris with MFA Deputy Assistant Minister
Ambassador Amr el Atta and requested Egypt's support in
holding Idris accountable for actions in violation of WIPO
and UN rules and standards. Noting some familiarity with the
issue, Ambassador el Atta promised to look into the matter
more closely. Econoff and IPR attache will follow-up and
report any substantive response.
