1. (U) On July 31, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship
David Choquehuanca approved our humanitarian assistance
diplomatic note (reftel A).
2. (U) An informal translation of the GOB,s response reads
as follows:

Honorable Ambassador:
I have the honor to write Your Excellency to acknowledge
receipt of your diplomatic note No. 308 of July 27, 2007
which literally reads as follows:

In this regard, I am pleased to express to Your Excellency
the conformity of the Government of the Republic of Bolivia
so that the words contained in your preceding diplomatic note
constitute an agreement between our two governments, which
will be in force effective today.
I avail myself of this opportunity to express to Your
Excellency the assurances of my highest consideration.
