1. (SBU) On June 11, we delivered reftel points urging
support for the UNRWA's Flash Appeal in Lebanon and
UNRWA's Emergency Appeal for the West Bank and Gaza to
Marje Luup, MFA Director for Development Cooperation,
and Andres Talvik, MFA Director for Asia. Luup and
Talvik agreed that a strong show of financial support is
important and said they would submit the request for
further internal discussion.
