1. The following statement is provided to verify the human
rights vetting process: at this time the Embassy verified
that Post possesses no credible information of gross human
rights violations by:
DARES, Mohammed Hassan Nagi
DOB: 25 SEP 1949 Passport: 00847
2. Additionally the following human rights vetting
information is provided:
A. Specific assistance: Dares is a Brigadier General from
the Yemeni Army who will be attending the Senior Executive
seminar at the Near East South Asia Center for Strategic
Studies (NESA) from May 7 to 18.
B. Certifying country team official: Pol/Econ Chief Joey
Hood.
C. Current threat assessment: High.
D. This message grants country team approval on human rights
vetting requirements for Dares.
