(SBU) On March 5, Poloff delivered ref A points on the
FBI-hosted Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism Law
Enforcement Conference set for June 11-15 in Florida to Kim
Jae-woo, Deputy Director of the Disarmament and
Nonproliferation Division at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and Trade. Poloff said that if the ROKG endorsed the Global
Initiative's Statement of Principles, it could attend the
June conference. Kim expressed appreciation for being
informed of the conference and noted that, as MOFAT DG for
International Organizations Song Young-wan told POL M/C on
February 26 (ref B), the ROKG was conducting an inter-Agency
review to consider endorsing the Statement of Principles.
