REF: STATE 21535
(SBU) On February 26, we delivered reftel points to Arti
Hilpus, MFA Director for Security and Arms Control, and
inquired about Estonia's interest in endorsing the
Global Initiative Statement of Principles and/or
possibly participating in the Initiative's activities.
Hilpus confirmed that Estonia is in agreement with the
Principles, but said the GOE could not take any decision
on participation until after the next government is
formed. (Note Parliamentary elections are scheduled for
March 4, but it could take a month or more for the next
government to be in place. End Note.)
