SUBJECT: HUMAN RIGHTS VETTING APPROVAL FOR QADERI AND
GARALLAH FOR IMET COURSES
1. The following statement is provided to verify the human
rights vetting process: at this time the Embassy verified
that Post possesses no credible information of gross human
rights violations by:
Lt. Zaki Abdo Abdullah QADERI, Yemen Navy
Lt. Mohammed Ali Saleh GARALLAH, Yemen Special Operations
Forces
2. Additionally the following human rights vetting
information is provided:
A. Specific assistance: Qaderi and Garallah will be
attending an English language course at Lackland Air Force
Base, TX (February 21 - June 8). Qaderi will then attend
training at the Coast Guard Training Center in Yorktown,
Virginia until December 7. Garallah will attend training at
Fort Knox, Kentucky until December 19.
B. Certifying country team official: Pol/Econ Chief Joey
Hood.
C. Current threat assessment: High.
D. This message grants country team approval on human rights
vetting requirements for Qaderi and Garallah.
