(SBU) On June 20, poloff delivered ref A points, which
requested the ROK to vote against a motion seeking an early
adjournment to the June 20-21 International Conference of the
Red Cross and Red Crescent, to Lee Ong-young, Deputy Director
of the Human Rights and Social Affairs Division at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Lee reiterated what
he told us on June 14 (ref B), that Seoul would oppose any
effors seeking an early adjournment. He added that the ROK
had sent clear directives to its mission in Geneva on this
point.
