ESTOFF shared talking points in reftel with Sylvie Lapointe,
International Fisheries Advisor, Atlantic Affairs Division,
Department of Fisheries and Oceans. Lapointe indicated that
Canada will support Dr. Hogarth's nomination as ICCAT
Commission Chairman. She added that the GOC is still unsure
whether any Canadian officials will be seeking leadership
positions in ICCAT at the upcoming meeting in Seville.
