On September 7, poloff delivered the information contained in
paras 3-6 of reftel to MFA Director of Asia, Africa, and
Oceania, Milton Magana. On September 8, poloff contacted
Magana to see if GOES had any specific comment on the
information provided. Magana stated that GOES had its energy
focused on the UNGA at the moment, and that he would be
available to speak with poloff at a later date on the subject
of Iraq.
