1. Embassy has no derogatory information on equity
participants in the Sumahan hotel project.
2. Turkey is enjoying a record year in tourism, with 16.7
million foreign visitors (up 25 percent) in the first 11
months of 2004. Turkey's government expects to earn USD 13
billion in receipts from foreign tourism in 2004. Annual
tourism revenues are seen at $21 billion in three years
time.
