POLITICAL, SECURITY, HUMAN RIGHTS
Radikal, Milliyet, Ozgur Gundem, Milli Gazete/ Chief of the
Turkish General Staff General Hilmi Ozkok went to Van yesterday.
Ozkok visited Governor Tan and the injured people at the
hospital after the Friday bomb attack. Ozkok stated that the
people of Van did their best to condemn the terrorist attack.
"People should act for stability," Ozkok stated.
Vakit, Milliyet, Ozgur Gundem / Ten people were killed during a
clash between Iranian Security Forces and PKK/KONGRA-GEL members
in Ceremi, Urumiye, Iran.
Zaman, Bolge, Ekspres / Professor Alper Akinoglu is the new
rector of the Cukurova University. Prof. Akinoglu is from Adana
and a member of the medical faculty.
