POLITICAL, SECURITY, HUMAN RIGHTS
Turkiye / In Ercis, Muradiye and Gurpinar, Van province,
Jandarma detained 77 foreigners without any valid passports or
legal papers. It is reported that the detainees are from
Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan and Iran.
CULTURE and TOURISM
Hurriyet, Milliyet, Bolge, Ekspres / Tourism Week activities
started in Adana yesterday with a local food competition. Adana
Vice Governor, Adana Mayor and the American Consulate Deputy
Principal Officer attended the competition ceremonies.
