New Media Advisor for AgResearch

The person who is responsible for AgResearch’s monthly newsletter Intouch, today also takes over the role of Media
Advisor for AgResearch.
Norma Odendaal takes over from Mike Eng who is joining CPIT in Christchurch after being AgResearch’s media advisor for
just over two years.
Norma joined AgResearch in November last year. She has a strong media background having been a seasoned journalist both
in New Zealand and South Africa and a lecturer in journalism at Canterbury University. She also has a very valuable
network of her former students who are now working journalists throughout New Zealand.
Norma is based in Invermay – AgResearch’s Dunedin campus - but will be closely working with the Corporate Affairs office
in Lincoln where the Corporate Affairs Manager, Allanah James, is based.
