Solar Action welcomes solar water heating programme.
The Executive of Solar Action welcomes the solar water heating programme announced by the Government yesterday.
Solar Action is particularly pleased that the Government will be putting money into providing free, quality, and independent advice for the public on solar water heating. It is currently very difficult for the public to find out which systems are suitable for them. The emphasison performance testing of systems will ensure the success of the programme in the long term.
Solar Action was formed in 1979 and is New Zealand's only exclusively renewable energy advocacy group.
Solar Action has a focus on sustainable energy use and development.
