Agresearch will not sell meat or milk from its cloned animals

AgResearch has no intentions of selling meat or milk products from cloned animals into the food chain either now or in the future.
“It is important that the media and the public are aware of this,” said AgResearch Science General Manager Dr Jimmy Suttie following the media statement from the Green Party today in which its Environment spokesperson Nandor Tanczos says it was reported AgResearch hopes to sell meat and milk developed from its herd of cloned animals.
“There is no foundation to this claim by the Green Party whatsoever,” said Dr Suttie.
